South Texas Oil Company announces significant well

South Texas Oil Company has announced preliminary results of a recent well drilled in south central Texas.

The well started flowing approximately 100 BOPH (barrels of oil per hour) the equivalent gross production of 2,400 BOPD (barrels of oil per day). During testing that followed using 10/64, 11/64 and 12/64 chokes for 4-5 hours each, the well flowed an average of 21 BOPH, the equivalent gross production of 504 BOPD and 188 mcfd (thousand cubic feet per day). Wellhead pressure was recorded at an average of 900 lbs.

South Texas Oil Companys President, Murray Conradie stated, This well, drilled to a depth of approximately 7,000 feet, will be the second well to be put into production in this new field, which is proving to be a significant discovery for the Company.
